Grace May Not Be Easy
/Grace is not always experienced as something comforting or easy. Sometimes it meets us in moments of disappointment, conflict, or uncertainty, when our natural instinct is to resist, defend ourselves, or push harder for the outcome we desire. Yet even in life's most difficult moments, grace invites us to respond differently - not with force or judgment, but with patience, compassion, and a willingness to soften. Being gentle does not mean avoiding hard truths or difficult decisions; it means approaching them without allowing fear, anger, or the need for control to dictate our response. Perhaps the deeper work of grace is learning that we can face what is difficult without becoming hardened by it.
Where in your life might grace be inviting you to replace resistance with gentleness, and discover that a softer response can sometimes create the greatest transformation?
