How often do we believe we see clearly, know things correctly, or even that we have a thorough understanding of it all? How often do we come to conclusions that appear perfect, only to find that they may be a complete misperception? In this episode of "Speaking True", we explore the theme of perception and how it impacts our view. Why should you care? Because every action we take is informed by our view, so if we are misperceiving, we will be acting on wrong information. That's a formula for problems for us and for others.
Seeing True™ is a moment of epiphany that is so pronounced that subsequent changes in direction or behavior are dramatically altered for the better. The Greeks called this “metanoia,” which means "change of mind," though it might translate better today as “a profound change of heart.” In the Seeing True framework, we focus on transformation as the desired result, and forgiveness and relationships as the spaces in which we practice.
